Smartphones are part of our everyday life. We can’t even consider a day without our Smartphone. We use it for many purposes. When we need to connect with our home we simply call from the Smartphone. We use it for chatting, internet browsing or massaging. It’s almost like a friend for us. We can use it for listening to or seeing a movie. Actually Smartphones can turn our day around, but it can also be problem for us when it gives minimum service due to the battery backup. Then it’s a very unwanted situation for us.
So, today I am going to discuss with you a common problem and that is the short battery life. I have been using a Smartphone since 2009 and the battery never lasts quite as long as I would like. So I am going to share some tips by which you can increase your Smartphone battery.
1. Fully Charge the battery the first time:
Mainly there are two types of batteries. One is lithium based and the other is a nickel based battery. If your Smartphone has a lithium based battery, then charge it 5-6 hours for the first time before using it. If the battery is nickel based than charge it for 14-16 hours for the first time and then follow up with a 2-4 full charge and full discharge cycle. If you follow this method then it will give you a long time battery backup.
2. Turn off Bluetooth:
Sometimes we simply forget to turn off the Bluetooth after completing a file shearing and Bluetooth can consume your battery power. So don’t forget to turn it off after file shearing.
3. Decrease the Brightness of your Smartphone:
Try to use your Smartphone at a suitable brightness. Don’t over use high brightness. The lower your setting the longer your battery will last.
4. Fix Your Smartphone at a low back-light time:
Don’t use high back-light time. It will consume more battery. So set your Smartphone at low back-light duration.
5. Don’t use your phone in low network coverage:
When you are in a low network coverage area, then try to avoid using your Smartphone. In a low network coverage area, your phone will constantly try to connect to the better network which consumes more battery. So its better for you to not use your mobile phone in a low network area and if possible switch off your Smartphone.
6. Don’t use too much Internet:
Your Smartphone consumes a huge quantity of battery power when you are browsing on the net. So minimize your Internet browsing and save your battery power.
7. Turn the GPS off:
Use GPS system only when you absolutely need it. The GPS system consumes battery more than Bluetooth systems, so don’t use it when you don’t require it.
8. Change some settings of your Smartphone:
• Turn off vibration mode.
• Don’t use unnecessary applications.
• Don’t use animation or live wallpaper for your Smartphone background.
• Opt for a Black background for your Smartphone because it consumes less battery.
• Utilize a reputable brand charger for mobile charging.
• Make sure to turn your apps off when done because even idle apps can drain your battery.
If you follow my tips then you will definitely increase your battery time and relieve the stress you get when you are constantly trying to charge your phone after little use.
